Your Initial Visit

After being greeted by name and welcomed to the office by one of our staff members, you will be asked to complete some brief paperwork for your medical history.

After watching a short video explaining chiropractic care, we will conduct a consultation at no charge. If Dr Grosman feels he can help with your condition, you will have the choice to proceed with an examination. We will review your benefits/fees with you prior to you incurring any charges.

A thorough examination will be performed, with x-rays, if indicated. If possible, we will provide relief care and/or home care instructions.

At the end of your first visit, we will schedule a time for Dr Grosman to go over your findings. If treatment is indicated, we will go over your insurance benefits or other payment options that may be available.

Payment Options

We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express for any payments that are due from you for your part of any charges in our office.

GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE

We participate with most major insurance plans, including, but not limited to; Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United HealthCare, Medicare and Medicaid. We will happily contact your insurance company to verify your coverage benefits and this will determine if any amount is due from you for the first visit.

PATIENTS WITHOUT INSURANCE

If treatment is indicated, we have several payment options available to make it possible to get the needed care.

“ON THE JOB” INJURY (Worker’s Compensation)

This type of insurance covers medical expenses incurred due to an injury which took place while on your job. This type of insurance covers 100% of your bill in this office. In order to qualify for payment, you must have authorization for treatment from your employer.

AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS OR PERSONAL INJURY

If you have been involved in an accident such as an auto accident, fall, etc., which was the other party’s fault, his or her liability insurance company will be responsible for your medical bills. In these cases, it is our policy to wait until time of settlement for full and complete payment of your bill incurred in this office. However, you must furnish us with the name and address of the insurance adjuster or attorney handling your case.

MEDICARE

We participate in and accept assignment from all Medicare plans.

SECONDARY INSURANCE

If insurance is involved, we take care of filing all insurance claims for you at no charge. We will have you sign all the necessary forms for your insurance company to pay our office. If you have secondary insurance coverage, we will gladly file the remaining amount to your secondary coverage after we have heard back from your primary coverage.
