1. Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, one of our staff members will welcome you to our office. We will request that you complete some paperwork. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

2. Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with one of the doctors to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial consultation is designed to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

3. Examination

After your consultation, one of the doctors will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your range of motion and flexibility. Standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

4. X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific condition, X-rays may be indicated. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us to any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. We use digital X-ray to minimize your exposure to radiation.

5. Report of Findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, we will schedule a time for one of the doctors to go over your findings. You will be given a detailed report of all findings and we will answer any questions including:

  • How can you help me?
  • How often do I need to come in?
  • What will my treatment cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, we will discuss recommendations. We will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.

6. Treatment

At the conclusion of your Report of Findings visit, if treatment is indicated, you may choose to experience your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue massage. Treatment is interactive, and at any time you can discuss with our doctors your choice of different styles of treatment.

7. Home Care

Prior to leaving the office after your first treatment, one of the doctors will give you instructions regarding home care and lifestyle changes. This may include specific instructions on using ice and heat, activities to avoid, and what you can do outside of the office to be proactive in speeding up your response to treatment. Every person is unique, and therefore everyone requires a customized treatment plan.
