Your First Visit: 1. Consultation
Welcome to Grosman Family Chiropractic Clinic! Your first visit begins with a consultation with one of our doctors to discuss your health concerns, goals, and potential treatment options. This conversation helps us learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations so we can determine how chiropractic care can best meet your needs. To save time, complete your new patient forms at home before you arrive.

2. Examination
After your consultation, one of our doctors will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your range of motion and flexibility. Standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

3. X-Ray Studies
Depending on your specific condition, X-rays may be indicated. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you and alert us to any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. We use digital X-ray to minimize your exposure to radiation.

4. Report of Findings
Once your information is collected and examinations are complete, one of our doctors will go over your findings in detail and answer your questions, including: How can you help me? How often do I need to come in? What will my treatment cost? After reviewing your health history, goals, spine, and X-rays, we will recommend the best treatment and wellness program for your needs. See our payment options for insurance information.

5. Treatment
At the conclusion of your Report of Findings visit, if treatment is indicated, you may choose to receive your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, therapies, and/or soft tissue work. Treatment is interactive, and at any time you can discuss different styles of treatment with our doctors, including the gentle Pro-Adjuster.

6. Home Care
Before you leave the office after your first treatment, one of our doctors will give you instructions regarding home care and lifestyle changes. This may include specific instructions on using ice and heat, activities to avoid, and what you can do outside the office to speed up your response to treatment. Every person is unique, so everyone receives a customized plan.
